Today I installed a Pedal Commander. Bought it used off fb marketplace for $120. All i can say is wowaweewa, its very nice! It got rid of that awful lag and now the car feels alive when I want it to be and reserved when I dont. For example when my wife drives it I can tone it down, when I drive it I can adjust to my liking. Any 'PC43' model will work for the Mercedes, they aren't model specific. Also it connects to an app on your phone and can be controlled that way so you can completely hide the unit if preferred. Highly recommend it guys.
What’s in this pic? Looks like the jumper harness, cam sensors but what else?
What’s the metal pipes?
Did you have any oil leakage? How many miles?
I will change all the sensors, solenoids and add the harnesses as prevantative maintenance to make sure my ecu and engine doesn't get damaged by the leaking oil issue these engines develop from the wire harnesses. While I am there I decided to change out all my idler pulleys, tensioner pulley and drive belt. Also will change the oil. The pipes are the stock charge pipes I just removed to clean them up a bit since they were very greasy and dirty from 8 years of use.

Do you have the part numbers for everything you did? That’s next on my list, I was going to do the jumper harness but I might as well do the whole thing. I got my 15 last fall.
I did a complete facelift on the front end on mine

Next up were wheel spacers, I wasn't sure how aggressive I could go so decided to play it safe and went with 15mm rears and 12mm fronts. Spacers are made by Bonoss and are very high quality and lightweight forged and hubcentric. No issues, no vibrations. However I'd recommend 15mm all around for a slightly more aggressive fitment, the rears are good but the fronts can come out a bit more for my taste. Yes I know my mirror is missing lol
Thanks to your post I ordered 15mm/15mm Bonoss spacers so I just wanted to say thanks! I was originally going to go 12/12.
I've been a busy man with the repairs/mods lately and wanted to update you guys with the progress.
The repairs...
I spent all day yesterday installing all the new pulleys, belt, harnesses, solenoids, sensors etc...
Removed and cleaned all four charge pipes.
Changed the oil and filter and added some Ceratec to the engine.
Car runs much quiter and smoother now.
The mods...
- Had the chrome window and trunk trim wrapped to gloss black
(sorry @cfmistry lol)
- Installed gloss black brabus style diffuser with brabus style exhaust tips
(Dont like the third brake light on it so will have that wrapped gloss black soon)
- Installed lowering links in front only
(Was sent wrong links for the rear so waiting for replacement)
- Changed out the front spacers from 12mm to 15mm to get a slightly more aggressive stance
She's still under construction so dont judge me yet lol
I've said it before -- I'm not a murdered-out kinda guy, but you're doing it right. With the rear links on there it will look great. I am about 3/4" lower than stock via STAR lowering.

Yes sir. Gotta leave some chrome. Btw did you ever install your spacers?

What a beauty. Have had my S550 (black on black likes yours) for 3 years and never did anything to it. After seeing yours though, I'm getting inspired...
