Mercedes-Me App Feedback
I just subscribed and purchased 2-years service for Mercedes-Me App for my S560.
I would say that I am really very very impressed. Finally, I can find one technology-related feature that Mbenz performed better than my former BMWs. The response time for the engine start as well as door lock/unlock is literally about 1 second or less. This is way much faster than all 3 BMWs I have owned (usually takes 20 seconds to respond).
I found this useful as I can use my Apple Watch while approaching the vehicle with hands full and say (Hey Siri, Lock my car) and it will respond in less than 1 seconds instead of 20 seconds for BMW.. If I am in the garage and need to quickly get something from the vehicle, I can use the app to lock and unlock the car instead of go get my keys.
Of course on hot/cold days, I can condition the vehicle in advance. Again, the part that I like is that the car responded to requests in one seconds as if the app communicates with the car directly (and I wonder how that is possible). It is nearly as fast as sending a text message to another phone and the vehicle behaves as if its always awake in just 1 second. BMW needs to make itself first wake up, and then it will execute the request (about 20 seconds or so).
Question: Is their anyway to let the car seats heating/cooling and steering-wheel heating also work with engine-start and AC when AC is on auto-mode?

Glad you're having a good experience, mine's been pretty garbage so far.
Granted my car is a 2017, so it's an Mbrace subscription via the mercedes me app. I already authorized the app to the car, but nothing seems to work properly.

If I have to guess, it is probably the Command unit in the pre-facelift that causing delays, while the facelift new command unit responds much faster to requests through the 4G network. I doubt it has anything to do with the Mercedes Me vs Mercedes Me Connect.

The 2018 has a totally different app than 2017 or newer versions. Cars built on or after July 2017 can use the newer system, but older cars use the old system, which is garbage. I have a late MY built 2017 and I've been told that my car uses the newer system, but I'm not willing to risk them being wrong so I didn't subscribe.

I have the european Mercedes Me for my 2018 S560, which is based on the German Hermes. It doesn't allow me to do much, I can only lock and unlock it. No ability to start the engine, can't lower the windows (I'm bummed about this) and the supported services offer only GPS theft detection, parking assistance (never worked, don't need it anyway), and maps & information (that one I use).

I have a 2019 and the app works fantastic. I think I paid around 60 bucks for the services that I wanted including remote start, door lock/unlock and a few other things. Only option I didn't pay for is OTA map updates as I rarely use the on board nav.

From my understanding, the main difference between "MB Me" and "MB Me Connected" is that you can see the tires air pressure and gasoline level in "MB Me Connect", otherwise they both offer Engine Start, Lock/Unlock, GPS tracking, Car Zone Departure Warning messages, few other features etc similarly, and both responds within 1-2 seconds on the facelift model years. BMW had offered their older vehicles an upgrade to their telecommunication model (first to get 4G instead of 3G netowrk, and 2nd to get better response time) for only 100 buck or so... MBenz didn't offer any of that to the older vehicles with 3G, but if would have been nice if they would have at least offered an upgraded 4G models to the vehicles with 4G but slower response time. Again, another experience wherein BMW takes the lead on technology offering.

So there is no MBrace app anymore. It's MBrace services provided via the mercedes me app.
As for 'connect' that's just a suite of services like entertainment and secure. The homepage of the app gives you start/lock/unlock but if you notice, when you select it from the home page it takes you to the 'connect' section.
I just got off the phone with support, and apparently they had a problem charging my card for the services so that's why they weren't working and popping up a message for a 'technical error'. Sure enough, I go back in my account history and I see there's never any charge from them. Horrible customer service IMO, if there's a billing issue either the error should reflect that or you should notify the customer so they're not left wondering why the very expensive service doesn't work.

Just to clear up some confusing. Mercedes me connect is a new platform, not just a suite of services. It comes with its own app called Mercedes me connect, which replaces the old Mercedes me app. mBrace is end of life and several services such as Live Traffic for example have been shut down and can no longer be renewed. Those services still exist on the Mercedes me connect platform. Mercedes me connect is for MY2019+.
Here's a screenshot of the Mercedes me connect app. The homepage looks different depending on the model. AMGs get the Affalterbach crest in the background as shown here, and everybody gets a render of their actual car. Mercedes me connect also has a notifications framework. For example you get an alert if the 12V battery charge is low, or when you forget to lock the car, and the biggest new addition are the over-the-air updates for maps etc. Mercedes me connect requires an updated COMAND system or MBUX.

I paid $315 for two years for the Mercedes me services in 2018 S560, but that has included all services and options. I asked for a discount when I was on the phone because first they tried to sell me a worth of minimum 4 years extension services for $650.
since it is a facelift, Mercedes me app sent a request in the vehicle response at one to two seconds as I mentioned earlier. I’m happy with the services.
I just wish that the vehicle is a smart enough to also turn on the seats, heating or cooling along with the AC on remote start.
