2015 split view front passenger -vs- Nightview

Looking at two almost identical 2015 S550s. One has split view and front passenger entertainment. The other has Night View assist. Are either of these options worth having over the other? Also, one has a code of 53v SPEED- + LOADINDEX 99Y XL+102Y XL while the other has a code of 57v SPEED- + LOADINDEX 102H XL + 101H. Is there a difference or just stating because of the tire / wheel option differences?

I think the load index numbers are a reflection of which tires & wheels the car came with from the factory.

Several people on here have complimented the Night View feature, while most poo-poo the Splitview. Both are rather rare.

I had the Split-view in my former W550 , and I currently have the Night-vision on my S560. I'd get the Nigh-vision all day long than the Split-view. The split-view is a gimmick, cuts the resolution in half leading to very poor resolution all the time (50% of pixels available to each side, and this mode is permanent; be aware and in fact I would pass on the vehicle only because it has the feature).....It was even discontinued after the facelift.

If interested, you can just get the Night-vision, and then code your vehicle for Video in Motion then you get the best of both worlds. I am learning coding in steps (and hopping soon when I fully learn it to share free instructions and resources on this forum), but right now I still pay to get my car coded for some more complex stuff as a beginner in MB coding, but if interested, Video in Motion is easy coding and am happy to assist if I can. When I had my S550 years ago, I asked RJautomotive to code my vehicle

I have the night-vision and I love it, 100% on all the time in the evening time and beyond.

Nigh-vision shots for you:

I have both and would say neither is very important.
A car with H rated tires will come factory limited to 130 MPH, the Y rated will be 155 MPH.

Can Night Vision be coded? Was it offered pre-facelist?

Night vision requires significant hardware changes and additions.
