Does anyone have experience with mwmods.com multibeam activation? Or any of their other software updates?
I just picked up a 2020 S560 and like the chip activation route vs remote-in. I’m assuming each activates the MB coding for ILS+ and one isn’t activating different functions or capabilities than the other.
I did find a comment in the G Class section and in another section, thought I’d ask here.

Used them for my former W222 for suspension loweing module as recommended by E and G class forums. Plug and play, no waite time, and reasonable cost at that time. Problem now they seem to be asking too much money; maybe 400 total or whatever and that’s stupid greediness for flipping code lines or plug&play module (I’ve witnessed coding in my eyes) . I didn’t try them for my current facelift. I copied you on another relavant forum for ILS+ based on W223 forum member recommendation and my experience, but also ask for IHC+ . Shouldn’t cost more then 100-220 USD for such job in my view, should take 1-5 minutes if it’s plug and play no hassle, or same-day 30 min job for remote coding (only cable) for the route I took and reasonable cost. Good luck. Works great in both low beam operation and high beam. Will send u a video

I ordered the suspension height adjustment “plug and play” module. Arriving in a few days. I must have the plug module as it’s easier to switch back and forth anytime any day.

I got the Plug-and-play module by MWMods I learned from the experience that @MBGuy2022 shared in his thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...ng-module.html
Haven't tried it for more than a couple of days as I just got it 3 day ago, but I've been driving around with slightly lower height for 2-days thus far, and driving comfort appears to be preserved and better than driving under Individual Sport Suspension mode. Just be careful if you live in an area where you have to drive over steep or aggressive incline, and even an immediate dip from the gutter which are common in my area on drive ways. You have to optimize the height so that it is low enough cosmetically but only to a level that would fit the style or roads and streets in your local area or state. The module allows you to do all these iterations, and you can revert back to factory or higher spec's anytime too. I had my former W222 lowered too in the past.

Can we not have a vendor brawl in the open forum please? The point of this thread was for the OP to share the upgrades he made to his W222 and his thoughts on them.

Cleaned up thread a bit. Sponsors can promote their services in their respective threads.
A couple things worth noting. Unless something has changed with these OBD2 plugs, they are locked to the VIN so they are not reusable for any other car. You sell the car or return the lease, it's a useless brick. I still have a couple of these in the garage although they only cost a few hundred Dollars back in 2018.
Same with the Renntech OBD2 modules. This wasn't the case with the prior wired modules. Please let me know if that has changed...
The other thing is that the lowering values are permanent until changed. Older modules had speed dependent lowering, if desired. This would raise the car at 35mph+ and thus would not impact your alignment. Most tire wear happens at higher speeds. So if you slam your car, consider an alignment with toe/camber adjustment or you will pay much more than just the module for lowering.
FWIW, coding has been much more prevalent on the BMW side and there are more sophisticated tools available that allow for a range of changes rather than just a simple adjustment (Bimmercode module + app). But on their end, remote coding offers by far the most extensive customizations, but people usually use their own computers and just buy the cable.

I tried the Griot's Ceramic 3 in 1 and have to say it was a pain to use. I carefully worked small areas, buffed, etc. Super glossy, but in many places I had a slight haze. The only way to get it off was using some old Meguiar's Paint Cleaner I had. Really light application and buffed it out, then hit the area with my trusty Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax (love this stuff along with their Quik Detailer). I basically had to do the whole car as little haze areas were all over. A big annoyance is the Griot's sprayer - we're only supposed to use a light mist but that sprayer is ready to spray a ton on the car. Why not a smaller spritzing type sprayer? I try Griot's occasionally and usually come away disappointed.
So I've order some Reload Spray Sealant and will dilute it before use. Also ordered Gyeon Quartz Ceramic Detailer. Hope these are easy wipe on / wipe off.
If these turn out to be a hassle I'm tossing it all and going with my standby Maguire's Quick Detailer and Quik Wax. Easy to use and it looks great.

Gyeon Ceramic Detailer is wipe on wipe off. Gyeon Cure is a lot more like Reload in that it can be a little finicky...Reload and Cure are longer lasting. You will find Reload like the Griot's product.
You also might want to try GTechniq Ceramic Detailer (formally C2V3)

If Reload is close to Griot’s it’s going back. Not even going to mess with it - plus it’s the most expensive of the bunch. I like to wipe down and do light detailing of my cars, not interested in drama to get a product to work. Not enough time in the day with other things to do.
