Rear Seat Massage

I am a happy owner of a recent 2018 S560 with 41k miles. It had all the options I was hoping for except for 2. The upgraded audio and rear seat massage. Having said that it has the chauffer package which makes me wonder if the rear seats are equipped with the massage feature but its simply disabled. I will go after market for the audio and there are plenty of posts on it, but on the rear massage anybody know if there is a way for me to confirm if they are equipped with the feature just disabled? I assume a full replacement of seats would be too much.

Thank you.

I believe the only way to have rear seat massage is to also have rear seat entertainment with those screens on the back of the front seats. It's how you activate the massage feature. Do you have rear seat entertainment?

Please do let us know. I also have rear entertainment in the show for package, but had no clue the rear seats were massaging. That would be huge!

Yeah I checked the entertainment screens there was no option and checked the vin, none of those codes were there. My hope was that since the seats are heated/cooled and can adjust, that because of the chafeur option they that may of used those massage seats anyway and just not show the codes. If not I was hoping there would be an option albeit expensive, to replace with such seats, door panel buttons and update command. I understand it would possibly not be worth the expense but it's one of those nagging features in the back of my mind. I assume the massage feature is per seat assembly and not additional external pumps and so on. Thanks for the reply.

'94 SL600,'05 SL600,'06 S65,'07 E63,'14 E63S,'09SL600 all sold, ‘15 S65,‘18 E63S,'17 SL65, '17S65Cab
Included below is a screen shot of the rear seat options list in the2018 S class sedan brochure. the hot stone massage is included in the executive rear seat package, and the executive plus package. The second screen shot shows a stand alone option for rear seat hot stone massage under the comfort and convenience section.
I also included a screen shot from my 2015 brochure that shows the control screen on the rear seat display.

Yeah I double checked the vin. Nothing for rear on dynamic or massage, I searched through all of it. For some reason whoever first purchased the car added everything under the sun except for rear seat massage. I guess I will explore option number 2.

Thanks for the pics.

If you do not have rear seat entertainment, then you do not have rear seats massage. In fact, the only way to control the seat massage is through the screens anyway and the remote control.
