Hey everyone about time to change the tires on my 2015 s550, wondering what you guys are running for tires? I’m just looking for the most comfortable tires for the best ride quality, tried researching what the new s class maybach runs.

I have been using Falken on my s500 for the last 4 1/2 years, the wheels are 19" , I have been very happy with the smoothness of the car.

Just went outside to look, the current ones are Falken Azenis fk 520, I think the earlier ones were fk 420 or something like that, they were the predecessor to the newer version.

CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 "PLUS" .... ALL DAY LONG!!! Make sure to get the "Plus" ones. They made huge improvements when the "Plus" was introduced (I think around 2022).

I have them, and I even have the personal experience baseline with two W222 vehicles combining 3 different type of tires before this tire. It's a true cloud especially with the 19" inch wheels. We got a lot of rain in July here where I live now, and I found them to be very stable and especially quite on wet roads.

They seem to be the best or at least among the best in ride quality and road noise based on both, consumer as well as Pro-testing by TireRack. There is always a debate as to which tire is #1 or 2 or 3, but I feel comfortable saying that with this tire you are guaranteed to be among the best and satisfied. They are a little expensive but worth every single penny. They will be next on my X5 too as it I really needs the soft-ride.

I have these (19" staggered) on my 2015 S550, with MBC. Replaced a set of Michelin Pilot Sports. These are smoother, quieter, and seem to be lasting longer. I'm very happy with the tires.
