I see a lot of license plate frames on Amazon, mostly low quality. I got a custom license plate but I kid you not the holes in the dealer frame didn’t line up.
Any suggestion for license plate frames other than the dealer?
I put these on my 2016 S class and they fit very well. Needed a frame which does not cover parts of the specialty license plate parts, hence the thinner frame.
FWIW, I got my AMG branded frame online from the MB Lifestyle Collection. Looks like they don't' carry that particular one anymore, but no fitment issue. The only thing was the plastic screw caps started to rip off the first time I had to remove it to put the new registration sticker on and then I lost one of the caps while driving. Found sturdier and better quality ones on Amazon that firmly snap in place if put on correctly. So much so that I can barely get them off now, which should at least delay anybody trying to take my license plate. Not that I've had an issue in the past and vanity plates don't fly under the radar as much if somebody were to steal it.
