I have notifications in app settings turned on. I don’t normally do that.

Today I enabled some tele diagnostics. It asked for contact info. I could only choose an email address. I tried Manage users but I can’t see settings. Will I get notified through iPhone? Is there an option for text message? I don’t see one.

You'll get notified via email. There's no text option. Don't expect much from this. I've gotten mostly service reminders and when the brake sensor trips I get an email letting me know that I need new brakes, which is useless as the car already showed the brake warning in the instrument cluster. Dealers have the ability to do remote diagnostics if you ever have an issue and can't bring in the car right away. They can scan the error codes remotely to see what might be going on with the car, but I've never used this. So far, though, it's just been redundant emails letting me know about things I already knew.
