after driving a bit with the new received my 2016 (2017) Mercedes S500 ( VIN WDD2220822A282048) ) Just noticed below items so far :
1- the Blind assist not working... I made sure it was on in the setting but its not working ( we also have a EQ250 so I know how this should work) ...
2- also I cant get any audible waning wen I use 360 camera or when do reverse ... I never had any S but I am sure there should be some sound type of warning
3- didn't pay attention but the left Exhaust tip is loose and the part attached to it is broken, so there might hit somewhere ... as picture
not sure how I missed above when I sis test drive, I told the dealer but not sure if they would assist or not ... rather than that I realty enjoying the car ... not impressed with sound so need to think of something ... also I think I expected more quietness and less noise inside but its smooth ( maybe if change the RF with none RF Tires would assist)
Did you get any warranty for the car even 30 days? I would go back for sure and take a shot. The RF's are not great for ride quality, I have a S550e and it came with a new set of RF Michelins that are pretty decent, when I wear them out I plan to replace with non-RF. The exhaust issues probaby can be fixed by a shop but I would also request that they repair

we have 3 month warranty here ( in Australia )… having said that not sure what exactly covered , also I got 3 years extended warranty … I have sent official emails to the dealer and waiting for the respond …
I will definitely replace RF tires to NRF ones in near future
I think the sensors are not even a consideration, but the damage to the exhaust port probably isn't covered by a warranty but you should for sure make a big deal of getting them to fix it.

I met the dealer today , all positive :
1- the Blind assist not working... I made sure it was on in the setting but its not working ( we also have a EQ250 so I know how this should work) ... seems working when we tested together ... not sure why didn't work when I tested, I guess should be minimum speed before this be activated ? so all good

I never had any S but I am sure there should be some sound type of warning ... also this is working... it seems you should get too close to something that hear the beep... but didnt know there is visual ( small lights) for the warning... its completely different to our 2023 EQB...so all good

next step is upgrade to apple car play which I cant live without , also extend the cables to prevent the oils coming to the ECU... maybe upgrade the sound system , and also add dash cam ... I love the car so far, just wish I had all other options ( specially the 3D sound, Magic Sky Control , MBC ... but am happy as it is , its a decent and really beautiful car
