Correct Oil Amount S450 2019

I have found reference to 6.5, 6.9, 8.5 and 9.9 qts for a full change with filter.

I know, start at the min and add 1/2 qt till you get the right amount of the dipstick.

Well, I am not sure others have the same issue but when I pull the dipstick after sitting it is often showing almost no oil.
Inserting and drawing back out shows a "normal" level.

I pulled about 8QT out with the level showing 1/2 way using above method (second pull).

Anyone really know how much oil a 2019 W222 S450 V6 needs?

7QT will bring on the "Add Oil Next Fuel Stop" message a couple of days after changing the oil.

Still have the funky dipstick issue.

Seems the car "likes" about 8 QT, but I don't like running high.

Guessing i am a bit overfilled now.

Guess I will measure the dipstick, and put my siphon tube exactly that length in the dipstick tube and see how much oil I extract.

Dry or low dipstick is due to the vacuum in the engin, allowing oil not to flow back into the tube. Just lift the Dip Stick enough to release the vacuum, re-insert and check again... Good to go!

Warmed the engine (10 mile drive) let sit about 10 min and pulled the dipstick.
Almost dry, and when reinserted showed just about full.
Put the vacuum tube down and started pulling oil (and air).
Mostly oil for about the first 1/4 qt, then more air than oil for about another qt, then noticed had become mostly air (still pulling some oil) so guessing reached about the right level. (Pulled a total of about a Qt and a 1/4 out.)
This means that there should be about 7 1/4 left.
Dipstick reads about 2/3 up, so I an certainly in the safe zone, and will just fil to 7 1/4 next time.
What I found interesting was the length of time it pulled a steady mix of oil and air.
Either the extra Qt does not raise the level very much, or the dipstick sits in a narrow passage and oil does not quickly flow in???
Thinking about sending my borescope down the dipstick tube and seeing what "Full" looks like.

Yes, same here... full (7) quarts with oil filter replacement. No issues or messages.

I have not seen reference to it on an S450.
Maybe the higher end models use a measurement sensor instead of just a low level sensor.
