I could only imagine your face when you read his response. I felt bad.

But just goes to prove: "No good deed goes unpunished."

However, great positive response! Good for you and for us all.

Honestly I think OP misunderstood me and may have thought I was referring to him as such....but in fact that wasn't the case at all.

Yes, I agree that wasn't the case and that's why I felt bad when I read his response. You were trying to helpful.
Thus my comment: "No good deed goes unpunished." He simply misread the post. And I assume he now knows that.

We are all so stressed these days and hair-trigger reactive. "Punch me (or not) and I'll punch back harder."
So, on behalf of all us old farts everywhere, I wanted to commend you for your positive response.

Again, good for you and a good example for all of us on the forum.

Necessary Edit: A friend asked me why I commended hyperion667 for being discourteous to SW20S. I did not. I commended him for not striking back when someone was discourteous to him. I did not like nor do I support hyperion667's post to SW20S, or SW20S's posts to Lou B, or Lou B's post to hyperion667. To me the posts were rude and showed a lack of consideration for fellow forum members. We have come together here in fellowship, in the spirit of sharing and learning, and no one deserves our disrespect.

I come here pretty seldom, and at my age I'm often out-of-tune with current idiomatic usage and terms...and certainly not au courant with how to use these pages. This morning, I was able to locate, read, and respond to a PM. Right now, I cannot find what I''m advised is another PM...just cannot find the access button. The last thing I want to do is offend someone by either misinterpreting a post, or by responding improperly, but if I'm communicating well ,mechanically, I guess that's going to happen. Another problem I have is that what Itype shows up so damned small on my screen, I spend a lot of time correcting typos. I'm supposed to get some reading glasses but that'll take a while.
So, where do I look for PMs?

Ideally, drive both the standard S class and the AMG-both with pneumatic suspension. IMHO, there is NO COMPARISON, especially the latest MBC, with curve control capabilities. My current 2015 with MBC is phenomenal in all aspects. Goes like crazy (almost scares me), stops extremely well, handles curves with aplomb and is an Engineering Masterpiece.
I think I'm getting the gist of your reply. MBC is great. When I ordered my MBC '18 S560, the dealer had not sold any cars equipped with it. They couldn't put me in touch with an owner who could let me try it. They tried to talk me out of it for fear of snow here in the mid-Ohio Valley, where we do sometimes get it. I insisted on it for the sole reason of providing my wife with the most comfortable ride for her, and I've never regretted it.
I don't know beans about AMG cars except that I understand they're expensive, with big engines, and fast. My initial post, responded to pretty snidely by several, was simply to learn about the AMG ride. Thanks to a couple of more kindly folks, who seem more mature in their responses, I now have an adequate understanding to my initial query.
My apologies to all whom I may have offended,if any, and to those to whom my initial query wasn't clear, thus eliciting a snide, to me, response.

You’ve got me intrigued on one of these.

I certainly understand money and choice...but opportunity comes into also.

Have both.. I prefer the non-amg.. smoother, more quiet, and no slouch... my AMG garage queen is fun to "drive" every now and then... I've owned three S-AMG's... so go figure...... but I realize I am an s600 type of guy... if I could have the power thrills, in total quiet and super smooth, my world would be perfect ...
