I’m experiencing some problems in the cold, everything was nice and well till about 3 days ago.

Yesterday AC blower stopped blowing air, I had to wipe the windshield every couple of minutes on THE HIGH WAY! Super dangerous, but yeah…

and 3 days the front started squeaking when going over bumps and stuff. This was a temperature issue from what I found, when parked in a heated underground garage, the car drive perfectly well doesn’t squeak, but once it hits the -10C weather outside for 5mins it starts squeaking again.

If anyone can give me price estimates and approximate what’s wrong with it would be greatly appreciate.

 

I haven't experienced the blower motor going out, but I had a suspension squeak when I got my car. Apparently the OEM front lower control arm bushings can go bad pretty quickly. They aren't removable from the control arms so I had both front lower control arms replaced at an independent shop for I believe $1400 USD all in.

 

Blower motors are cheap and relatively easy to replace. Unless there are other issues, I wouldn’t write the car off just yet….

 

Im keeping the car, I got it a 2 month ago, the car is amazing for long road trips, already put 6000km on it.

1400USD?!?!?! I did some research, it said the lower control arms are around 300 each piece, they really charge a lot for labor eh. Haha

 

Looking back at it, it was $1374 for those replaced and the 40k mile trans service. Also I believe since I have ABC suspension it was more time consuming to replace than the air suspension as he then had to add fluid & bleed the system. It shouldn’t be over $1000 usd for you.
