All of the differences between the 2014-2017 and 2018-2020...?
Anyone know of a complete "list" or anything outlining ALL of the differences between the 2014-2017 and the facelift 2018-2020...?
The ones that I know of are:
New headlights
New taillights
New front bumpers
New rear bumpers
New 9-speed transmission
New steering wheel
New cruise control on steering wheel buttons
New digital gauges in drivers info 12.3" cluster
New one-piece glass over both 12.3" displays to make them look like one
New 64 ambient colors instead of 7
I know there are new/different engines, wheel options, and new/different interior leather and trim colors also.
Any others...?

There are also lots of differences under the skin that you don't see.

I disliked the cruise control stalk on the left side of the steering wheel. On my previous 2015 I constantly hit the blinker stalk instead. Or vise versa. So annoying. Moving that control to the steering wheel is a huge improvement for the FL models.

Is this an error in that release?
"For superior performance with significantly reduced fuel consumption, the Handcrafted-AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine with cylinder deactivation replaces the previous 5.5L V8 biturbo engine in the Mercedes-AMG S65. Despite less displacement, the new engine produces 603 hp.

Very minor note .... the 9 speed transmission was actually introduced in 2017.
The facelift cars came with wired Apple Carplay and Android Auto
Facelift cars no longer have a CD changer. A single-disk player in the glovebox is an option on the facelift
Nappa upholstery became standard on the S560

There are more than 5000 different parts between the 14-17 and the 18-20 W222 cars. We nicely refer to it as a facelift, but there are tons of differences. I bought a 17, then sold it within a year and bought a 18. If you care, buy an 18 or newer, and if you plan to use the app, buy a 19 or 20.
