My filler cap is starting to crack and I ordered one from MB: Filler Cap - Mercedes-Benz (000-010-14-85-64) for my 2014 s550.
However, they sent me Filler Cap - Mercedes-Benz (000-010-12-85), it seems to fit fine but a bit more snug so I ended up putting my original one back on for now. They look different and on the MB site it says that 000-010-14-85-64 is correct for W222 but wondering if the dealer sent it because are these technically the same and is correct as well?
I know MB switches up the part numbers over time but wanted to ask if these are the same?
