Retrofit 4 zone climate control 2020 S560 4Matic?

No plans to go out and do this tomorrow. But it sucks that I have rear heat/ventilated seats (but NOT executive option) and I DON'T have 4 zone climate control. Is this even possible?

You "could" call it possible, but extremely difficult. The parts alone will cost you close to 10K if you buy them new. Probaly 1/3 if not. Keep in mind, all the ducting that will have to go under your center console will need to be changed, along with the new switches for rear seat climate control. The easiest part will most likely be the coding. But anything can be done with enough time and resources.

I had a 17 that didn't have some of the eqipment that I wanted. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a 2018 that had all the features I wanted. Only one year newer, but it makes me much happier!! You might consider the cost of doing soemthing like that.

When I was shopping for my S560, which of course turned out to be a 2020, I really wanted rear seat entertainment and the executive package. So my husband could drive and I could sit in back watching movies. But I do get a bit car sick staring at my phone and I'm not sure it would work. Plus he's a jerk (he drives a BMW) and he didn't like being my driver. Plus he kept shifting the Mercedes into neutral and revving the engine because he doesn't know how to drive.

I ended up with my 2020 S560 4Matic with the rear heated / cooled adjustable seats but without the 4 zone climate no rear seat entertainment and no executive. But my car was registered in DC as a diplomatic vehicle, so that's something.

I hate the W223 with the fugly screen in the middle. I may look at the EQS (or the Lucid if they come to Raleigh). But my S560 already has a 400-500 mile range so why change it just for the rear seat. As I've said before, I can't even get my rear seat pax to adjust the DAMN seats. I have to get back there some time just to make sure everything works before my warranty expires.

The Lucid is definitely a better vehicle overall than the Eqs, but when it comes to back seats, your S560 is going to have the best one.

Among the things gracefully not mentioned here are the heating water lines, the new duo valve specifically for the rear seat, the new refrigerant lines, the new center console circulation fan, the new center console (you give up that spacious bin for an eyeglasses box.) It's not trivial at all, totally agree with @carlosinseattle

Really would be more cost effective to find the model you want, especially if you plan to sell the vehicle in the future and someone runs the VIN and finds all of this 'extra' stuff.
