V, sounds & times similar to a sticky lifter. Warms up then goes quiet.

never ever would I treat my S class so poorly.
5k mile oil changes.
i think i got a crap hengst filter and its draining back.
changed out the oil yesterday and put a mann filter and now no noise.
never had this noise until this last oil change, when i used the hengst filter.

So far the double brake pump and hold on start method has been working fine.
no ticking.

Changed the oil back to mobil1 esp and used mann filter this time…..
no ticks…..weird….
