2014 Mercedes Benz S550 with 38000 miles
Hi guys I am planning to by a 2014 Mercedes Benz S550 AWD with 38000 miles in beautiful condition for $30,000 dollars and I like to know your opinion if that’s a good deal and what concerns I have to aspect from the car please.
I am planning to put $15,000 dollars down.
It’s clean title, no accident and two owners car.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

The price is high based on the year, but low based on mileage. Some things wear out with age, so lower mileage isn't a huge benefit. Get a thorough pre purchase inspection (PPI). That way you'll have a better idea of what repairs might be due pretty soon. Thoroughly review the Carfax report for service history, and see if you can get a VMI from the dealer, it has more information than a Carfax report. And test drive it as much as you can to listen for noises and anything else that might point to problems. The $500 you spend now could save you thousands in the future.
