Mercedes Benz S 550 DISTRONIC, LANE ASSIST, blind spot monitor. Issue
Hi Benz owners, I know this is a very common issue. But i need some expertise on this current issue i m facing with my car. I bought it and it comes with these issues at the moment it looks like a sensor/unit error. I tried it with a snap-on Scanner. However i was not sure should i just buy the unit or it needs cleaning or reset. is these sensor or unit is in the front of the car or something else, WOULD I NEED TO RECALIBRATE is so how can i calibrate it.
how hard and difficult it is to get to that sensor do i need to take part alot of things to reach it or replace it
most definitely where can i find the right one for my car which will work without any modifications are there any better options out there
one more thing
I also getting fault in the scanner. Which is this one is that mean the circuit is located. Or mi missing some coolant in the low temp reservoir.
I'd test the battery first. I had some random errors popping up and it turned out to be the battery was dying. Swapped it out all of them cleared. Good luck

the battery you are saying is the one auxiliary one or the main. The car starts fine. My car alignment is off. In the beginning it showed DTM after clearing them mow I dont get that error. Just wanted to know is the module needs replacing or i just need to calibrate it. I will chexk the battery after knowing which one. I m aware you might be talking about the aux battery
Correct, a low aux battery will disrupt features like Distronic and radar-sensing.
would it by chance give me a code or something in the scanner. I see nothing however i will check the scanner and test the battery if that is it will save me alot of hassle for the sensor re calibration and finding the one.

Yeah. I wanted to share the message however the code shows it has distronic error but DISTRONIC is gone left with only these Error on the dash Parking sensor beeps on close range Still not sure
