I see them from online dealers parts sites @ $3.25/ea. What do you consider a reasonable price?

This seems to be a fair price, but my search has only offered the clips at $8, plus shipping,

Depending on where you are, you might find it cheaper, but the official MBUSA site has it at $4.40.

All offering shipping charges beyond the selling price of the part...not a matter of my ability to pay, but rather hard to justify the price levels for a small plastic fastener Once again, a n overpriced item from Mercedes

So the shipping cost makes it expensive and you’re saying it’s an overpriced Mercedes part? Does Toyota and other manufacturers provide free shipping? I once paid $20 in shipping for a $8 part, non Mercedes car, but I didn’t blame the manufacturer for the cost of shipping. I actually didn’t mind because a round trip to the dealer would cost me more in my time and gas.

You can always drive to the dealer and pick up the part, call the dealer to order the part first for pickup. They’ll call you went the part arrives. You don’t have to pay shipping then.
