Just Purchased a 2014 S550 - Any Thoughts ?
We recently purchased a 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class 550 in excellent condition, with only 35K miles. Although the car is ten years old and no longer under warranty, we opted for a four-year Platinum Extended Warranty from Endurance, which costs $135 per month. Our plan is to keep the car for 2 or 3 years before upgrading to a newer certified S550. We previously owned a 2008 S550 some ten years ago and come back to the S550, being out of touch with the model for a while, we're excited to enjoy this purchase.

2014 S550
Sounds very much like the same car I picked up in March of this year except mine had 50k miles.
It was very well taken care of and cleaner than I had expected. It's been great so far and has been trouble-free,,,knock on wood. My 3rd Merc and my favorite!
Only things I've done to it are oil and filter change, Wistec tune and filters and ceramic coat. Will keep it for 2 to 3 years and find something to replace it with.

Congrats, you did a good job by having an extended warranty
Some 2014 model year with M278 engines affected by cylinder scoring or something like that .I have read that here but you already bought an extended warranty which should cover similar problems but I believe you will be happy with your S Class

Fidelity consistently covers more, they are easier to work with when calling in claims.

Thanks for your quick response 👍🏻 I still have an opportunity to move from Endurance to Fidelity, as I am within the 30 day trial period. However, I read somewhere that Fidelity can only be purchased through a dealership ! We purchased our vehicle privately, no dealer was involved.
Do you know if there is a method to buy a Fidelity contract privately ?
