Disconnecting the battery

I recently changed the plugs and I was very concerned about disconnecting the battery so that when I removed the fuel lines to give me room it wouldn’t spray gas all over. Instead I just covered the connections with a rag. That worked but it begs to answer - what would happen if this car lost power for an hour?

not much, the windows might need to be re-calibrated, the transmission might shift differently for a few miles, the SRS light might illuminate and will need to reset the steering wheel angle sensor by doing full lock each side. etc.

Not me! I can do without 100 degree heat and 70% or higher humidity. I’m not old enough to wear sweaters or a jacket when it’s in the 90s out.
