Carplay/Android Auto

I have decided to take the plunge and get a Android Auto/AppleCarplay unit installed on my 2015 S Class. After much research I have determined that the UNAVI unit will work best. I have ordered the unit and am scheduled to have it installed by a professional shop in the coming days. Just curious about the experiences that anyone has had with this unit or something similar. I.e are there any drawbacks

or regrets from anyone that has had one of these units installed? Any and all responses will be appreciated.

This is the one I'll likely be getting when the weather warms up. Install looks fairly simple based on the video online.

I installed a Roadtop unit myself and honestly it's the best upgrade I've done so far. Installation took me about 2 hours and was super simple. It's nice to have Waze running next to my music app and the addition of the equalizer that the unit has really makes a big difference in the sound of the audio system. No drawbacks that I can think of and I've been running the Roadtop unit for over 9 months now.

Roadtop for me as well, I've installed 3 of their units for different Mercedes (W212, W221, W222) and they all work very well.

The only drawback is switching between the stock display and the aftermarket requires a long press on a button. It's not an issue really, just different from all the other controls in the car which are immediate. I rarely switch between them and having real-time maps and navi is where it's at!
