Basic is a plus in my book, though I agree that the Nappa leather is desirable upgrade.

Having had a pretty basic S560 and now a much higher optioned S580, honestly the only upgrade I wish my S560 had was exclusive nappa with the suede headliner. Even just the suede headliner. Power rear seats and 3D gauge clusters and all of that honestly I don't even think about.

Covered under our extended warranty coverage yes, but I think you're referring to the Spark Plug warranty by Mercedes-Benz we were talking about last week.

Because it is linked to a specific batch of thermostats, problem did not exist at introducion of engine.
