Buying s500 with high mileage
So, im considering 2014 s500 with 340k kilometers on the clock, car has been well taken care of including oil changes every 10k with adding ceratec, using only premium fuel etc. Price? 38k$, my plan was to put rest of my budget (~8k$) into service of the engine. Is it a good idea or i should forget about this car

Oh God.
No! That’s WAY too many miles for that price.
I have an extremely gently used S450 from 2018 with absolutely every option but the rear fridge for sale right now near Dallas for around $30k. 46k miles mostly highway.

Id say forget it. At that mileage and that frequency of oil changes most likely going to have issues with seals.
Find a different car.
If you look hard enough maybe Albania you can find a bunch of S500's that have been stolen from the USA....LOL...

I don't want to scare you but if it's the cheapest there must be a reason for it or the cheapest car could be the most expensive one to buy . We don't know how many miles could you drive it for good without any engine issues and as if that was not enough it's 2014 .It's the probably the worst year because 2014 model year cars seem affected from issues that were fixed in later years .
I would just pass it unless I take it an engine replacement into consideration or intend to own it more than 5 years
