Hi, I have a late built 2013 S550. After disconnecting both batteries, is there anything I need to reset (besides radio/settings/seats). I feel in the past there was something with the sun roof or windows? I cannot remember and didnt see anything in a search.
Just disconnecting batteries to do some welding on the exhaust today.
Thanks.

You will need to teach it where window full open and closed is. Easy.
Clock often forgets.
Seat memory settings.
Radio presets.
You'll do fine.

Got it. Yeah just the window and sunroof reset. Hold the switch a few extra seconds after they close and you're good.

Solid state non-volatile memory has been around for decades. Does anyone know why these features are intended to forget? When replacing a battery, I use a power accessory with my Noco battery charger that connects to the OBDII connector and keeps the ECUs powered during battery disconnect.
