USA Configurator with pricing now live. We must be coming to the end of this S Classless ordeal.

 

Are these all the options? I don't even see the AMG steering wheel under interior when selecting the AMG line.

 

Not by a long shot. And all orders are 2022s now, so the color selection is inaccurate. It can only be viewed as a sign of progress toward the actual release of the V223 in the USA.

 

I didn't see the 3D Technology package listed on the configurator. All other prices are expected, but listed as a 2021. My '22 order was placed on May 3 and the 3D was ordered.

@Huncowboy, I asked about the AMG steering wheel at the dealer & here on the forum. I didn't see it in the order guide posted on the forum, but I see it in many of the youtube videos. I agree it looks better then the one that shows on the configurator, but it is not a deal breaker for me.

 

I think the US cars will have the regular steering wheel even with the AMG package. They are reserving the AMG wheel for the real AMG US version whenever that’s released.

 

For me personally the standard steering wheel would be a no go. Very subjective thing of course. For this car the whole AMG package is very subtle. At least what I can see so far. I would not even get that for an S580 except for the wheel. I guess the website will evolve as we move toward 22.
