Unable to operate side rear sunblinds and rear head restraints from the front

Hi Folks,

I have the S580 AMG line with the comfort package and I can't figure out why I can't operate any of the rear side sunblinds and rear head restraint from the front console (there in an option to retract or lift them for visibility but it does not work).
There are options in the center console but they don't do anything. Am I the only one with this problem? These features work fine if I operate them from the rear seat buttons but I can't operate them from the front.
Also, I've noticed the rear sunblind does not roll down when in revererse, contrary to what Mercedes advertise.
Trying to figure out if it's a software bug?

Thanks

I have the S 580 AMG line and mine are working fine. I have not been using the rear shade, so I don’t know if it reverses when shifting into reverse, I will have to look. I think there is a rear shade button on the door panel below the four window buttons, if I remember correctly.
I just checked and the button is on the drivers side door panel right below the window buttons. My side shades go up and down using the buttons for the rear windows located on the drivers side. Hope this helps.

A further note. When the window is in the fully up position (fully closed) pull upward on the button that operates that window as if you are still trying to close the window. The shade should come up from the bottom of the window. It takes a bit of practice.
In our homes when it is to bright and sunny, we put the shades down. But it is different in the car. When it is too bright, we need the shades to come up from the bottom of the window.

Thanks
That feature only works if you have MBUX Interior Assist.

PS All other issues you state I have not experienced.

Same as in the 222.

I'm wondering if anyone here has optioned this as many of the cars I have seen at dealers are lacking this option, although could also be omitted from many cars due to the chip shortage.

When I ordered my car back in Oct ‘20 MBUX Interior Assist was only available with dark leather interior such as black (I assume a technical limitation due to sensors picking up hand gestures against a dark background). I believe now can be ordered with various interior colors.
