Car won't start.
Got in, pushed button. The engine is soo quiet I'm not 100% sure if it started but i saw the rpms fluctuate a few times. Then it went back to 0. The Mercedes me app says the battery is partially charged. I'm not sure if that means there's not enough juice to start the car or if there's some type of mechanical issues. Sucks because it's a holiday weekend.

I also tried a remote start and the app said the engine was running when it wasn't.
Tried again a few minutes later. Car ran for a few seconds then died.

Sorry to hear that you are facing this issue, so you are saying there are no actual error messages on the dash, is that correct? That is strange then because if the app reports the 12V battery being partially charged, it should also show on the vehicle. Hopefully it isn't a 48V battery issue.

@ColeBlooded is this related to the 48V systems? Try reading the W213 E-Class and V167/X167 GLE/GLS sections of the site to see if what you are experiencing is similar to what has been posted for those vehicles.

I can't recall what message popped up but it wasn't the 48v battery message. From what I've read, people who've had the 48v problem where still able to start and drive the car.
I'm gonna get up early and call roadside assistance and have it towed early as possible.

Hmmm, keep us posted but because the 48V battery does power the electrical starter, the AC compressor and the electric water pump, it is necessary to be operational for the car to function. In short, if that malfunctions the car wouldn't be able to start so from the symptoms you are describing, it maybe in fact is the 48V battery. However, I don't think that battery defect should be present on the W223.

Ugh is right! and worse is op's dealership "lost" his car until later that day, the dealership kept saying they couldn't find the car once it was towed there.

I think it was the 3rd or 4th phone call when I asked to speak to the service manager when they finally acted like they cared where my car was. They found it. Service advisor says they've been backed up, and says he'll have updates on the diagnosis by this evening.
I didn't wanna get too belligerent while they have possession of my car but that was pretty ridiculous and I feel like if i didn't keep calling, nothing would've happened.

They should have had the service manager himself out there waiting to take possession of the car. Crazy.

I'll make my 1 star reviews and talk to the service manager when this is all done. Possibly before. They're gonna be tired of me.

And this is such a missed opportunity for the dealer. As someone who is in a customer service business, it makes me cringe. Huge opportunity to turn a very negative experience for you into an opportunity to shine for them.
As much as you paid for that car and as much as a Mercedes dealer commands for service, they should pretend to give a **** about you.

Thanks for updating us on your vehicle's status. Your SA gave you a pretty vague update though, I was hoping they at least tell you what they tried/didn't try and what error codes the car returned, it just seems like they put all the responsibility back to MB corporate. Either way, hopefully they give you a satisfactory response soon.

Sorry you are having such bad luck with their customer service. I’ve had decent luck with Simonson and very good luck with Beverly Hills Mercedes, FYI.
Best of luck to you!

Ate they owned by DTLA Motors, same as Porsche-Audi-VW? I had amazing customer service with Porsche when I had my 911. I’d drive past Beverly Hills Porsche service to go to them.
