S580 steering wheel and other issues

Hi there. My steering wheel only gets lukewarm, even when I turn on settings to give a boost when I put the seat warmer on. My wifes E350 gets boiling hot so I hope this isnt intentional

Another issue is I have is similar to others, why cant I turn off the traffic light camera? I turn it off (I know how to use the car settings)

Finally, (I dont see this issue anywhere here) but I keep getting an error to change my seat setting to see the 6 dots. I dont want to change my seat settings. I turn off auto seating and still this damn thing pops up every 3 minutes, its infuriating.

I love everything else about it. Thanks for your help

For the Traffic Light Camera it should be able to be turned off using the instructions below:

As for the six dots message, that has to do with the 3D Gauge Cluster and Heads Up Display. The sensors are being blocked or cannot see your face in order to properly activate the system. The sensors can be turned off however that will limit the abilities of the 3D cluster and HUD.

One of the many reasons I had my car unwound. I couldn't live with the non stop exceedingly large dash messages insisting that I change seating and steering wheel positions. I asked many times for help at the dealership and on this forum. I found the S580 to be a barely acceptable vehicle if its owner accepts being regulated this way. By now, I really know how I like to sit behind the driver’s wheel…and how I like the side view mirrors to be set. Thank you.

On point #2, I cannot keep the traffic light option off, also. I know how to change the settings, but upon restarting the car, the settings go back to automatically on. Mercedes Car Care is WRONG. Pain in the butt!

I have a 2019 S560 for sale. Asking $170K for it! Only 20K miles.

I too have a similar issue. The steering wheel reaches lukewarm temps and reaches it slowly (about 5 mins), then holds steady. I haven't taken any action but will at some point soon reach out to my dealer.

Shouldn’t your post have a after it, or are you serious?

I'm just funnin'. I'm not going to let it go any time soon.
I can't figure out how to add the icons. I clicked on the smiley face icon and it never pops up where the cursor is flashing.
