48 Volt issues with W223’s?

I have a 2022 S580 on order, to be delivered next month. I’ve been reading over on the V167 & X167 forums ( current GLE & GLS models) about the absolutely insane issues many are having with their 48 Volt systems. I mean brand new vehicles dying and unable to be restarted, stranded drivers, vehicles being towed to dealers, MBUSA refusing to admit there are problems, dealers keeping vehicles for weeks without a fix, etc. Have these 48 Volt problems been seen by any W223 owners here? Enquiring minds want to know.

Not owner but.... I heard a few from the 12V battery actually, starter battery critically low but that is likely due to the batteries being drained from the cars sitting too long before the owner took possession.

@Streamliner also read the CLS and E-Class sections of this site where owners are reporting 48V problems.

What a sad state of affairs. Folks shelling out big bucks for luxury vehicles produced by a company known for meticulous engineering, only to have massive problems and for MBUSA to be of little or no help. Good grief!

There was at least one W223 reporting this issue...
