Orange S Class?
I know I will get trashed but I am thinking (well maybe fantasizing) about painting my S580 orange. I am coming from an S63 2 door and I feel like i am paying so much money for a boring looking car compared to the S63. Anyone like the idea and if so, any suggestions where to get one in the New York area?

No need, there is already "orange peel" all over modern MBs (alright sorry for the bad joke).
I say go for it if that's what you want, as long as you are happy about it
Obviously not everyone will like it but as long as you like it and I am sure there are people that like it still.

One possibly drawback of having an orange car is that the amber turn signal is less noticeable as the contrast with the body colour is lower.
But, on the other hand, yellow and orange cars have, statistically speaking among other colours, the least chance of a road accident as they stand out from the background.
