On my S5 80 when navigation is on and also the XM radio is on I find that radio is not muted when the instructions on the navigation are provided. I’m surprised that this does not happen and I was under the impression the audio fade out or something like this do this so you can hear the directions clearly. Does anyone have any opinions or ideas on this issue thank you. With phone calls it does get muted I believe..

How about fm radio etc? And does yours do fade out or complete mute? Thanks .

 

it happened to me today while listening to SiriusXM
When the navigation directions came in I had to use the volume control on the steering wheel to turn volume up to hear the directions. Wasn’t optimal. Not sure why it happened because it didn’t do this before today? At least not when I had my music playing through Apple Car play.
