W223 S-Class Car Wash Check List
To me, a spinning brush is a spinning brush, regardless whether the brushing material is cotton or microfibre or whatever synthetic material. Anyway, I would prefer the 'touchless' method because even though the cleaning liquid might be harsher, I think it is better to do a full body wax job (more often) than to take care of swirl marks and/or potential scratches from the brushes.

Touchless washes don't actually clean the car is the issue.
Needless to say about snow, even a drizzle can easily dirty up a spotless car quickly. And since I do not do the hand washing myself, why not? :-D I simply cannot stand even having a fine layer of dust on my vehicle when I drive out in the morning, especially on the windshield.

I don't think my iCarsoft MBII code reader will work on the W223 or W222 for that mater to see if any codes were stored. I'll just keep my hands straight on the wheel if I go thru again.
I've been using the touch-less washes up until this trial run. There's an even better touch-less wash opening near me soon.

Also, you can access a different storage of errors/warnings in the Driver Display accessed by the buttons on the steering wheel. May also go there to have a look.
Of course, try also the so-called hidden Dealer's Menu in the Central Display.
