Anyone do multiple security deposits with MBFS lately?

In the past, I know that MBFS would make it attractive for a lessee to put down multiple security deposits, which would reduce the monthly payments. Has anyone here had any recent experience with this? If so, I’d love to hear details. Thanks.

I have not done this recently, but did it in the past when I used to lease vehicles. In fact, I had a 2 year lease for my 1995 S320 and put an approximately, $24,000 down payment with ZERO payments during the next 24 months. In those days, it made a lot of sense. If I kept the money and earned interest on it (rates were much higher), I would pay income taxes on the earnings. So, effectively, my lease payment is reduced by the tax I was able to avoid on the interest I would have earned. It was a nice deal, economically. Not sure if MB still offers it.
