2022 S580

I love the interior and it is very comfortable. I can open the door with ease (yes, it is different than my last S class, but they open with ease 100% of the time.) My friends think the car is the coolest thing they have seen. Sometimes I just sit in the parked car and enjoy it. I received all the options I ordered. Had I not, I might not be as happy. In conclusion, Amir1, if you are willing to go through the dealer training and then go home and read the manual and "fiddle" with all the settings until you learn all the new features, go for it and buy the 2022. You will love it. If you don't like change, and want a car just like your current 2020, you will probably be on this site posting how unhappy you are. Good luck with your decision.
Retired and happy, you’re not an oddball!! Typically in any situation the naysayers or the guys who buy competitors products (trying to get external validation that they made the right decision when the S class is still the benchmark) skwawk the loudest!
I fully agree with you, I love my S580. After almost 8 weeks of ownership I fully enjoy the car and the door handles are really cool. Fully used to them now. While the haptic controls can be slightly annoying I have also gotten used to them. I look forward to driving the car everyday. The comfort is outstanding. The rear steering makes this feel like a smaller sports sedan and the torque with the mild hybrid has virtually zero turbo lag. This is my 5th Benz, I’ve owned bmws, Bentley’s, Lambo Urus, RR and other exotics and this is quickly becoming my favourite all arounder daily driver. This car is a bargain and is magnificent at any price point.

Sam here, very happy with my S-Class at almost four months of ownership. Zero issues with the car or any of the electronics, and whenever I have clients or guests in the car they are very impressed and love the red interior.
