SACD & DTS music
The previous S Class with the disc player was able to play the higher end CDs, SACD and DTS. Does anyone know how to load/transfer one of these higher end CDs so i can listen to it on the 4D Burmester?

You could get lossless music from apple or wherever you get your music and play it through the usb. The ripping process isn’t what it used to be, so I wouldn’t spend the time. Today there is so much meta data that goes with the file that you lose if you rip. For example, you wouldn’t have the cover image from the album or track info.

I am personally not convinced that Burgmester is of sufficient quality to benefiit from SACD (or any 24bits / high digitalisation frequency files)….

100% subjective, the only the car I know with good sound is the Aston Martin DB9. One good test I found is to listen how much the spectrum is changing with volume increase, the less it changes and the better the audio system is,

I assume my experience with the W222 applies.
I’ve been able to play .flac files off of a thumb drive. That includes high definition and 5.1 surround. There was a limit of 64 gig on each drive.
for CDs, I used Easy CD converter by Poikosoft. Click on Automatic for all options and then Uncompressed to get full 16/44. They can also handle DTS and SACD, but I don’t know if it’s the same product.
fyi, they have a free trial.
