Correct, it didn’t matter to me whether I was paying $145k or $131k. I was special ordering the car regardless. I like my dealer, so if that’s a special connection so be it.

You clearly aren't fooling anybody, you're not going to convince us so you may as well stop trying.

There have never been any statues built for cynics or skeptics. You have a bad habit of trying to speak for the whole when you are only ever speaking for yourself.

There comes a point when it's time to let it go. While Rockland didn't recognize the thread to be about leftover 22's, your post makes zero sense...

He’s the one who replied to me…the conversation had already moved past it with actual discussion of the OP’s purchase.

That easily happens when members visit the forum less regularly... most don't catch up with every post before responding.

Sure, but all parties in a discussion need to let it go.

Some nice deals to be had on 2022s.

Got $10k off and did 39month lease on S500.

Residual is strong at 58% for 10k miles.

Thanks for sharing. To my understanding, the S500s are not selling that well. So prices on them in theory have been softer. Also, 39 month lease is a ripoff since you pay for the 4th year registration but only get to use it for 3 months. That said these are fantastic cars. Enjoy.

Depends on the state, but here registration is like $150 for two years, so I'm not worried about getting hosed for the registration lol

I’m in NY - annual registration is like $100-200. Once you get new car, you just transfer plates and they credit you the difference from my past experience.
This dealer had S580s as well with same discount although I’m not sure if residual is the same on the lease. I believe they have like 14 Sclass in total.

Key is to email as many dealers as you can and be ready to make a deal, its a numbers game.

Car is not for me, its for my parents - unfortunately they have no clue about MF, residual value etc so i have been helping them do the deals. They have leased Sclass cars for past 7 years and no other car was an option lol

I got them payment as close as to their existing 2019 S560. Obviously lack of V8 is a big difference but I don’t think they ever go over 80mph.

I was researching price quotes online but not much info on forums so figured i share. I’m sure deals will only get better over next few months as demand decreases and supply issues are no longer a problem.

I was at Euro Motorcars in Bethesda today for service and walked through the showroom, no ADMs on anything, including AMGs, and they had the boldest, highest ADMs in the area. They have a beautiful 580 in selenite on the floor, I bet you could get a good deal on it...

Times are changing, especially the six-figure market. The rates are insane, and used cars are even worse. I know that I won't be getting another car until the market as a whole resets.
