Where is a good place to SWAP my 20" AMG rims for 19" MBenz Rims
Hi everyone,
My S580 has the AMG 20 inch RIMS (I am at 2000 miles)
Looking for the 19" Rims. IMHO while the ride is less sporty, it is MUCH more comfortable and cushy.
Can anyone recommedned a place in the DFW area that would buy/credit me for the 20" and offer the 19" Rims ?

I don’t know that you will find a shop that will do that with OEM wheels. A shop selling custom wheels might, but I believe you will still take a bath on the deal. If I were you, I would order the new OEM wheels you want from ALLOYWHEELSDIRECT.net. They have every MB & AMG wheel available and even though they are based in Europe, it is VERY simple to deal with them and the prices are great, even with UPS shipping, duty included.
I used them to get AMG 19” forged wheels for my SL. Here are photos when they arrived. Took about a week.
When you get the wheels, take them to your favorite tire shop, mount them and then sell your 20’s. Several guys going through insane experiences with 21’s would buy your 20’s in a heartbeat.
Just an idea to chew on... If you go with the non AMG wheels you should be able to enable 10° rear wheel steering with coding. You'd want to confirm that with Mr Ninja before committing.

I read the 20" AMG are worth almost double than 19" standard rims
Would happily exchange my 20's with a set of 19's - If I could only find someone that is in the opposite shoe .... meaning has 19's and wants 20's
As long as you have the 4.5 already you should be able to go to 10, others reported doing it. The AMG wheels are wider and this is what constrains those cars to 4.5, it is a software limit, the hardware is exactly the same. I got 20s as my summer set and 19s as my winter set from alloywheels direct. They have been fantastic! You will have to sell your 20s yourself on ebay or list it on the classified.
