I have had my car for 10 months now and have only ever had a rear seat passenger on 2 occasions.

interesting comment. I wanted the s class because i wanted the S class features but very much enjoyed all of the e class ones that i have had. Therefore the reason for me getting the SWB version which was available in Canada in 2021 and 2022. Unfortunately it is not available in 2023 and therefore like in the USA the S 500 only comes in the LWB version. it is a shame really because my car feels like a larger e class with the s class features.

I see that you are from Nova Scotia which is where my son's maternal family are from. They still have a house there. Beautiful country.

You need to work with an approved importer. Have to meet a DOT checklist and EPA requirements. By and large most cars that are already imported to the US are importable from Canada. I was looking at doing it for a Audi Q3 for my wife but in that case the vintage Q3's I was looking at were not equipped with TPMS so they weren't importable. Then I looked at Q5's and most Canadian Q5's weren't equipped with wood trim so I gave up.
