Ceramic options for exclusive Nappa in W223 S class
For years I have tried different leather products and ultimately settled on Swissvax (forte when needed, leather milk for regular use very 3-4 months). That’s worked well for probabaly 8 years now.
This time I’m considering ceramic products but have no interior leather experience with them (for Silver/Black exclusive Nappa leather). Many leather products sit on the surface and don’t penetrate as advertised since most automotive leather is coated. I just don’t know about mercedes exclusive leather.
I have zeroed in on GTeqniq Leather L1, Gyeon Leather Shield, and Gyeon leather coat. (CQuartz seems to be too much of a pain to put on).
Does anyone have any practical experience with the three items mentioned above? Also does anyone know definitely if Exclusive Nappa is an Analine or Semi-Analine…or is it coated natural leather?
thank you
I have been completely unimpressed by ceramic products for leather, I personally would (and do) use a product like Colourlock or the Swissvax products you used before.
I haven’t used his leather product, Swissvax has been amazing (after trying Lexol, Leatherique). Unfortunately I also tried the Griots garage stuff on a BMW Dakota leather interior….permanently ruined the car. Smelled like formaldehyde and never subsided and ultimately had to sell it. I never bought anything Griot again. I swear by Swissvax. It’s just that good. For exterior Ammo has been amazing…particularly the tire Mud product. There’s nothing like it out there.
Looks like I’ll be passing on ceramic interior. I appreciate everyone’s candid advice.

I found that some of the more high-end shoe or leather jacket products work really for aged leather with creases. There’s a lot of stuff out there, like Otter Wax Leather salve. I would first test a small inconspicuous area before slathering shoe care products all over your expensive seats. Sometimes these products can darken the leather, so test it first (although it usually lightens after it dries). Saddle soap works well at cleaning tough leather stains.
