My car has digital light - how do I enable this function if it’s been disabled by my dealer due to country restrictions?

would a simple computer be able to unlock it?

How can I tell if my 2023 has disabled digital light? Is there a specific number and item in the build sheet?

 

Go to Settings>Lights>Digital Light (if you have it)

 

You don't have it, digital lights are Maybach only in the US. You still might want coding though as the multibeams can be much better than what we get stuck with here.

 

in US...for non-Maybach and non-EQS...no digital lights...not just cuz of software, but cuz the headlights are not capable.
however, for the same group, ILS+ is possible with current headlights...but need to be coded/unlocked.
ILS+ being the smart high beams without the on-road symbol projections.

question i have for those in US...has any owner been able to get ILS+ unlocked at the dealership?
honestly, this is all i'm waiting for from benzninja...whenever he gets it done/ready. but at his rate, the dealership may be ready to do it first!

 

My dealership is telling me there are no current plans or any timeline they're aware of for enabling the matrix lighting on sold cars.

 

That’s unfortunate, especially considering our model year is capable of it. I wonder what else we can do to press the issue to allow dealerships to unlock this.
