Animated turn signals are great looking! I want them.
I was so hoping they could animate them separately left & right as they do with both when you lock the vehicle. Did not know that was standard on the Maybach...almost up to Audi standards now, haha.
Probably been asked before, but will any new "coding" be erased when the vehicle goes back to the dealer for warranty service or module re-flashes? If so, I have a long, long time to wait with a 75K mile extended factory warranty.
From my experience for coding discussion with Max before I got my coding done; he said he guarantees his coding to survive updates and will re-apply it for 50 bucks if it ever goes away for other reasons like new lights installation; which was as a piece of mind for me.
Anyway I am almost certain coding will not go away regardless after a casual service or maintenance work. I think the only chance coding will go away is if there is a particular problem with your coded module (i.e.: taillight, or your headlight for ILS coding) and then dealer has to re-flash that particular module or install new lights for example.
I don't have W223, but I recently did oil change and air filters on my W222 and still have ILS / IHC+ working. My neighbor with W223 who I introduced to him also went for 10K miles service and still has ILS/IHC+ too.
Here is a copy from my WhatsApp exchanges with Max before I got my coding done. "Even if dealer remove it, We will recover it for very little money. $50". Maybe ask for the same as an assurance so u have something agreed upon already, but It doesn't seem to be an issue to worry about anyway during normal services or maintenance.

Last I heard was that he got his ILS headlights coded and then later tuned to operate starting from 10 MPH instead of 18 or so, but there a few other members here who did coding on their W223 before I knew or my neighbor did his coding if u r looking for more W223 feedback. First for W223 was user DoctorDash I believe.

My w223 was coded from Max and working perfectly. I really look forward to when I'm out of NYC metro area and can actually use the ILS + lol.. We have lighting everywhere within the city so for them to turn on its basically only when I leave here. I was in some very dark road's in NJ a few weeks ago for a good 40 minutes and really enjoyed the show. I love when they activate and it basically opens like an animation lol. He's good people and honest, always there to help. Just make sure you have proper internet connection as all is done through VPN

Just enabled ILS+ on my US headlamps for the w223. So now it'll do the adaptive matrix cutouts. I've been trying to find a set of digital light lamps for my car to retrofit but so far no luck. So now have the option to enable in MBUX and when in a dark area you see the matrix functionality working

He enabled ILS+ So the matrix functionality now works. Basically our headlights are capable of this its just disabled by default. While not as fancy as the digital lights as they don't have nearly as many pixels when I was out in the hamptons this summer or deep into NJ, both places its super dark its really cool watching it work. We just got my brother in law a new S5 which has Laser Matrix headlamps, and I just had those enabled also. Really looking forward to seeing those in action as they seem to be on par with the digital MB lights. If you don't live in an area that's dark, i.e. without streetlamps there really excellent and you really notice it. Right now I'm up in NYC where the streetlamps are on ever corner so they basically never ever activate until im physiacally out of the city which is super annoying. The whole coding and reprogramming takes about 45 minutes you just need good internet

Scroll up a little, you'll see his number there. I'm in contact now but we haven't got to brass tacks yet. I've been enquiring about enabling all the headlight functions supported in Canada. I post up when he quantifies what he can do and the cost; please do so if you get there first.
Max tells me he can enable all the functions available in Canada with the Multibeams: Highway mode, Enhanced fog light, Bad weather, City light, Adaptive plus, as I don't have the digital, I didn't inquire as to what may be possible with them.
He tells me they have not figured out how to remember the last setting for start/stop but can turn them off. That works for me as I run it disabled 100% of the time.
I've also asked about turning off the timer for the heated surfaces so they stay on until I turn them off; haven't got an answer on that one yet. Things go slowly when you're messaging someone on the other side of the planet.
I'm debating switching to the Maybach taillights configuration: Doesn't do anything I can see in the car, but it certainly looks cool.

just got ILS+ done by Max... was pretty straight forward...took about 1hr all in.
the function is not as bright as i had imagined. thought it was going to be full hi beam on the entire time whilst blocking out traffic, but it's not quite that bright, especially vertically.
nonetheless, does brighten up dark roads extremely well and does the whole blocking thing.
pretty cool... glad to have had it done by Max... would recommend US owners to get it done, it's a nice to-have.
