Coding complete, disabled start/stop and turned on all multibeam functions. Max did the work, charged 340, took about an hour. I'll have to wait until tonight to give the lights a test.

Automatic start/stop shuts down the engine when you stop and restarts it when you release the brake. I've had it disabled; it's a decent start/stop implementation, but I find it adds a little delay when starting out, and I don't like any delay.

I coded off the Auto-Start-Stop (***) also when I had a W222. Not only that it causes delays which I hate, but it is also "almost" useless as far as fuel and I personally believe *** was adopted to help with their claimed emissions. I hardly doubt it cases any impact on MPG (mine had always averaged 18 MPG in the city and it continued to do so with *** off. I bet it's also better for the engine as far as wear and tear to avoid the repetitive on off cycles, My main concern was the 4-cylinder deactivation that I hated which can also be turned off when *** is switched or codded off.

It works on the test loop which is actually done on a Dyno, real world results are not as good although there is a material gain in some driving conditions. This isn't my opinion, it's what I glean from my reading.

I don't like it, I've always disabled it and will continue to do so until such time as I can't. Color me bad.

Yep, it works. I'd echo @tonupbklyn : Although not as bright as I would hope it's much, much, better, and money well spent!

About Max; professional, quick, not a complaint to be had anywhere. There are now multiple people on this thread who have had their car done by him; I think maybe it's time for those who have been dissing him to consider cutting the guy a break.

So does the US 640 lights have sign reading, lighting up corner turns? I know it can detect fog because I was in super dense fog last night (max 3 car length visibility) and the ILS did not engage. I can't really tell if the lights follow my turns nor can I tell if they dim the road signs. Also someone had posted that European lights are brighter, can this be easily activated?

The multibeams don't block out signs, you need the digital for that. Mine are no brighter so far (high or low) than before but I don't know if there is some possibility to increase the total brightness or not; I'll get back to a little more on that later. I had him turn on all the stuff you see in the manual that is available for Canada; just go to the exterior lighting section and you'll note some items that are Canada only:
Active headlamps (/ page 167)
Cornering light (/ page 167)
Highway mode (/ page 168)
Enhanced fog light function (/ page 168)
Bad weather light (/ page 168)
City lighting (/ page 168

The first two are available here and you should already have them. The rest are features available in Canada on the multibeams.

To go back to brightness the HIghway mode is supposed to increase brightness when it detects you're up to speed (50 I think) and on a highway but I've yet to test it.

Now that I've had more time with it I'd say if the weak headlights are bothering you and the fear-mongering misinformation floating about hasn't convinced you your car will explode if you get it coded; bust a move on this one. Much, much, better.
