It essentially says that there is an issue with the voltage converter software that can negatively affect the secondary vehicle battery (I assume the 12-Volt battery), which can lead to multiple errors including those to the ESP and ABS. It’s only for 2021 to 2022 model years.
i.e., this probably explains all of the 12-volt battery issues and errors found here.

I wonder if the problem extends to 2023 model years as well or if the 2023 GLC issue is unrelated.
I don’t know how these cars are designed but I imagine there are probably a lot of similarities when it comes to the 48 and 12 Volt battery and electrical system, regardless of model.

How many months/years does MB research, develop, and test a new vehicle? Why were these problems not detected and found out before production? This is ridiculous. I also apply this question to all manufacturers, not just Benz.

It's not a part supplier, it's a software that MB writes to integrate it with other components.
