USB not recognized
I have a 2023 S580 and the dashcam is off. Asks for USB to be inserted. I inserted a new USB I have on my keychain 1TB and when it is plugged into the USB-c ports in the console, nothing.
It shows no response to a USB drive inserted in the ports in the armrest storage ports or the ports in the console. Any suggestions?
Also, my car has a gallery of images which appear (30 or so) but I have no USB plugged in. Where are these images from the dealership yard coming from and how do I delete them?
Am I missing something? Thanks

Hi @crabman , hoping for some guidance on this. I have tried changing exFAT to NTFS and even read to try FAT32 and it is still showing usb not supported. I'm using a 512gb SanDisk high endurance microsd and have usb-c to sd card reader. I've tried every usb-c port in the car. I also checked if I've missed any software updates for my car. All up to date and I have a 2023 S580. Thanks!

I'd try and keep it simple: I'd use a native USB-C thumb drive, no adaptors, NTFS, and go smaller if a 512 doesn't work. It's helpful that most people have a bunch of these lying around nowadays, so you can try different sizes seeking as much as you need, or the largest that will work.
That assumes you're using an appropriate file format; in some cars you will get a USB not supported, not supported, or similar error messages, but it's not the drive, it's the file format. I still have those, I moved them from the 580 to the new car, but I was rear-ended, and the shop is in the car.
If you're still not logging after that, it may be time for a shop visit if others don't chime in with something more. I vaguely recall there being an issue with USB back toward the start, but it was fixed a fair while ago, wouldn't think you'd be up against that.
