I just got an update from my dealer. Yes, all S63 E's have been released for delivery by MBUSA. My car is awaiting a part to be installed at the VPC and will be picked up for delivery as soon as that is done. Probably will be ready for delivery early next week.

Long day but we’ve made it home from The Sandy Springs “RBM” Mercedes Dealership. Lots of technology to get used to! My wife loves her new car. 😊 Our salesman (Eric Koenigsberg) was terrific and simply first class.

I haven’t driven it! Smile I put my wife in my Ford F150, then drove her 3 1/2 hours to pick it up and then followed her home.🤷♂️
now I have to sell her 2017 AMG 63 so it’s not in the garage with my truck outside

You get a 120 volt cord ( Level 1). And a 240 volt cord (Level 2) with your car. The 240 volt will charge faster and you will need to purchase and install a NEMA 14-50r outlet as pictured. You’ll also need a 2 pole 60 amp breaker that fits your breaker box. Mine was a Siemens and I could not find a 60 amp so I bought a 70 amp I found in town. Not the smartest thing to do, but I was able to get installed this morning. I just need a hook to hang the cord on to finish up.

I already had from recent construction. I had put the box in anticipating the need . Since I had a breaker box in the garage, I just dropped down 12” and I screwed a box to the stud with some 6 Awg wiring .
in hind sight, I should have pulled it to the right or left to allow a higher mount . Not an issue since I’ll put a cord hanger higher but it would have been a little cleaner install.
I have had mine about a week
Was a little disappointed I was not sure above the silver upholstery next week to get full expel ppf, window tint 15 and hidden radar and laser jammer
with the road noise but overall love the car

So, my ordered Nautical Blue is stuck at the VPC. So my dealer offered me their single Edition 1 at MSRP so I jumped on it. Drove it home in the rain so it is now slow charging in the garage. Alpine Grey, Black Leather Edition 1

I have been driving a '22 580 for 2 years and I drove it to the dealer earlier today and drove the S63 home. Well, the S63 is a totally different drive. This car is much heavier, the steering is heavy and responsive and it gives you a much more in control feel. It was raining on my way home so I drove very cautiously. But you can feel the power even in the "normal" mode. The suspension is quite different from the 580. It is firm and really feels like a much smaller car. The seats also feel different. The road noise is very noticeable with these 21" wheels. I hope it doesn't become annoying. I probably wont get to drive it again until the weekend and hopefully will get a chance to feel it out more extensively.
