Just a question. How does everyone feel about the $25k - $100k markup the dealers are taking? I realize this is a new special edition of a car that has been quite a while in coming and "Edition 1's" are special too. But...not sure the additional markup on a $230k car makes a lot of sense. But maybe it's just one of those either you do or you don't or you can or you can't. Worth it?

It makes no sense whatsoever. What's the point of releasing Edition 1 and not ones sitting at VPC and holding ones that are built in Germany by not shipping them.

I suspect they need to sell off the Edition 1's and allow those paying $202K+ to have bragging rights for a month prior to the full release. Edtion 1's were not orderable and so must be sold now.

Not quite yet , but I did get a call this morning that my wife’s S63 E is ready for pick up. Since we can’t wire funds until Tuesday, it will be Wednesday or Thursday before we can go and pick it up. Good news is that it has been released after being manufactured mid April and arrived Stateside at the end April.
Great news! May I ask what dealer you are using?
