As the days get shorter here in the northern hemisphere, I'm able to use my ILS+ more often and am happy to say definitely worth the price I paid @EleBest for the coding. I can use on even very busy highways with MANY cars ahead of me and passing on the left and right of me. One thing I've noticed though: the ILS Multibeam auto-highbeam feature doesn't activate until I enter a highway. It stays on Auto lowbeam until then. Is this to be expected? I haven't had the opportunity to drive on a pitch-black surface street as those are almost impossible to find in Atlanta, so haven't had the chance to test there.. Can someone that's either had the coding done or has a newer model that's equipped from the factory chime in?
Thanks for your feedback. It is not related to the High Way or not, it related to your car speed. Like 20mph above it start to work.

Agreed. Mbenz headlights were designed with ILS+ in mind, and you feel something is missing or not bright enough withould ILS+ coding. It's unfortunate that Mbenz doesn't encode them by default.
@EleBest did an excellent job coding ILS+ on both of my last S-class vehicles and my current GLS, and in all of them the coding survived software or OTA updates as well as all service visits including once a dealer software reset to fix service days counter.
So I had the ILS+ coded by Max last week and got to drive the car over the weekend to fully test the feature.
Here's some feedback.
Coding :
The remote coding took MUCH longer than we anticipated due to my slow wifi speed.
Max recommended I connect to the laptop via hardwire(ethernet), but I didn't have the cable long enough to reach the garage,
plus I had only 1 USB to Ethernet adaptor that I had to use for the OBD2 cable to the vehicle.
Speed was around 100Mbps, which was slow enough to fail the coding attempt/connection to the vehicle.
Max had to transfer all the application and database to my laptop which made the whole process around 3 hrs from start to finish.
He was extremely patient with me the whole time, I couldn't thank him enough.
ILS+ :
Right off the bat, I could tell the high beams are reaching the surroundings even when I had oncoming traffic or cars in front.
It went into low beam mode on bright streets and surface roads with street lights but the transition is so subtle, it's hard to telll unless you keep watching the "A" and high beam light on the cluster.
I truly enjoyed the upper half of the road ahead lighting up compared to before when I had the US auto high-beam only.
Road signs and lanes without traffic lit up beautifully.
All this was not immediately noticeable at first, but after comparing the manual-on + high-beam, the difference was obvious.
It's such a shame this feature, readily available on the W222, 223 is neutered due to decades old DOT regulations.
One funny thing I noticed - there was a beat-up vehicle with the tail lights all turned off driving in front of me on the left and as the ILS+ tried to light up that side, the rear reflectors shined and the ILS+ turned off.. and ON, and off repeatedly
Almost made it look like I was flashing at the guy. lol

I also had the swiping rear blinkers and orange LED delete coded at the same time.
Just wanted to give Max another shout out, he coded my sliding turn signals and enabled Maybach and Snow drive modes. He was going to also update my MBUX software to 26.1 but my Windows laptop is too slow to that in a time efficient way. I'm going to get my hands on another laptop and have him do that another time. I decided against coding the engine stop/start off because I would have to have it uncoded to turn it back on, and I do like sitting at a stop sometimes with the engine off.

If so, how do you like it? Any noticeable difference between the normal comfort setting?
Steve, if he had coded Start/Stop to be off by default, wouldn't you still be able to switch it on for the occasions where you want to use it? Or does it remove the option all together?

What is the Maybach suspension setting? Is it worth the programming? I like the sweeping turn signals. I'm still waiting for the price to come down on the ILS+ and 10 Deg rear steering. I may never do those if they stay at $2k+. Guess I am cheap. lol

So its not a suspension setting, its a engine setting. It basically is for chauffer driving...I wouldn't do it again but its fun.

Sorry, mine doesn't have RWS, so I didn't even think about that coding.
I wasn't aware the RWS coding is that expensive.
I was shocked to see how expensive the rear axle steering coding was. The other codings all seemed reasonable. I'm sure the rear axle steering is reasonable too and that there's more to it than I realize which warrants the high cost, but wow, that's a high cost.
Yeah, I felt it was exorbitant so I passed as well. $2500+ was way too much. If he charged like $750, I would bet a ton of folks would do it instead of the one or two who are willing to pay $2K-$3K.
I pinged him to see if his rates have tempered a bit and become more reasonable.
RAS+ Coding: Rear Axle Steering from 4.5° to 10° is now cheaper than before. As we developed some new technologies, which make the job a bit easier. But it is still not cheap. Duration of this coding is relative long like 3-4 h.
