if your care was imported from USA, we can also load ECE map and turn on TSA, change the yellow side marker to white, F to C, etc.

Yes if the car comes with digital light.

 

so does that mean u have or not done it with US w223 models? cuz US models don't come with digital lights, only multi beam, can't do onroad protections.

Yes. We did a few. You are right Most of S Class in USA is Multibeam.

But there is digital light in USA, see photo below, one of my customer from Poland imported from USA.

 

yes, there are model cars that have digital headlights (eg,EQ models), but not w223.
the spec sheet you've shown is indicating fabric top, it must be a convertible model, which is not w223 s-class.

so doesn't look like you've done star wave or rain for a US customer on their domestic w223... correct?

 

The Maybach can have digital lights, can't remember if it's an option or they're stock.

For W223, V223(LWB), Z223 (Maybach): only digital rain works perfectly according to my experience, starwave can show some pattern, but it looks not that perfect, you have 2 choices. it will remember your last setting.

Max is a great guy, he coded IHC/ILS+ on my W223 almost a year ago now. I'm wondering if the 2024 W223 have this enabled now from factory. I only say this cause my 223 has been @ the dealer for a few weeks as my EABC took a crap and they gave me a brand new 2024 GLS. I checked in the options and under lights there is nothing except activate DRL. However I can see it has IHC/ILS+ and its working 100X better then my s580. I think I need to ping you buddy and see if there is any update for my vehicle and I'm also pretty sure since there having a hard time with my car there gonna flash the entire thing so we'll have to redo it. If you guys are looking for an honest and really good guy Max is it

 

For multibeam this isnt possible, only cars with Digital Lamps. I just restarted my quest on finding a set of them to retrofit as the last few times i've looked its not been fruitful

 

I've been saying all along there is something wrong with our stock lighting; it's way below par. With everything now turned on it's better but it's no great shakes.

 

@DoctorDash , Thank you man for introducing me long time ago to Max. You deserve the credit here for sharing your experience with the community. You were the first one here at least on the W222/W223 forum to let us know about him even though it was a short post/comment, and despite all the non-sense and private messages by others to remove your recommendation/referral about max, which happened also in my case, am glad we remained honest and firm on sharing our experiences the way we see it. The results obviously led to a great like Max @EleBest coming here and formally joining the MBWorld community as a sponsor vendor. I highly recommend Max too, professional, respectful, and most importantly he is an honest person who leaves greediness behind him. He coded IHC/ILS my W222 and a few other features, and my neighbor’s W223 who I introduced him to. Great guy and well deserved reputation.

 

Nothing beats BMW laser headlights on the highway in my view. I wish Mbenz would adopt the laser technology at some point (though BMW stopped it now). Both BMW SUVs that I have are better at night and on high-ways (laser adaptive headlights). I feel Mbenz headlights aren’t the best in general, at least compared to BMW. Even compared to my Tesla with the newer headlights on late 2022-2023 model years, I still feel that my W222 had the worst illumination relatively speaking than my Tesla. Something is missing brightness wise.

 

I don't think you're seeing things, mine are less effective than anything I've had in recent memory. That's not all though, I often rent cars, it's just a few hours of driving so whatever is cheap, to take myself to and from the airport. Some of those are better, some about the same, some worse. Not something I could say about Porsche, they were all noticeably down.

The lighting is quite poor in this car, there is no question in my mind about it. A perspective is that I turned them off and back on to verify if they were actually working; something I haven't done since halogens.

 

Guys you should try MB digital lights and have them coded to enable all functionalities - much better than anything out there.

 

We don't have and can't option the digital lights on the vanilla S class in the US, only the Maybach gets them. Now if we had a C300, sure, but S class, no.

Are you sure that the 4 seat configuration IN THE US will make it possible to add the digital HD?
