Lease MOney factor and residual value

I need info on 2023 S580 for lease. Could one of the experts here share money factor rate and residual value for the car. Would appreciate it.

Wow, the money factor dropped since I leased in February, which defies logic unless Mercedes is getting desperate.

Actually according to the dealer the current MF is .0029, and residual 50% for 12k.

The residual for 12 k is correct as the dealer cannot change it, but MF is another profit channel for the dealer so they have a right to raise it. You can negotiate it all the way down to .0024.

The dealer is marking up the MF in order to steal from you. The numbers posted are correct. Tell the dealer you want the retail MF or you’ll buy from a dealer who won’t try and screw you.

I purchased a lot of cars over my years, running into all of the usual scams along the way. The one scam that always pisses me off is the one where the dealership finance guy just blatantly puts extra crap on the contract or a different price then the one that was agreed upon during the signature part.

I read everything before signing and call them out and they’ll usually fess us and say that was a mistake and change it, taking their sweet time in an attempt to tire me out. There must be a lot of naive people in this world for them to keep trying this. This happened to me at my Mercedes dealership. Always read everything and don’t let the finance guy distract you. They will try and sweat you out by going slow knowing you want out with your new car. Read everything.

these guys are good here. They know I am a buyer and I hate wasting my and their time. So unless they spend ten mts over the phone to give me some initial numbers, I dial the next dealer. I am loyal to my service guys for my car for the last 30 years but not to purchasing dealers.
I have owned and enjoyed several S classes over the years and currently own a 2022, which I may trade up to the 2023.
i think when it comes to luxury, comfort , style and status, there is none above S classes.
of course this is just my opinion and do not want to start a war on the forum . To each its own.

move on from these two bit dealers. There are still some good dealers out there who would love to earn your business.
